Stable telecommunications company is aggressively seeking a RF Engineer II.
Short Description: RF Engineer II A minimum of five years CDMA design experience at 1900MHz.
Complete Description: RF Engineer II A minimum of five years CDMA design experience at 1900MHz. The RFE must be experienced with both Planet EV and Wizard with at least two years hands on Planet EV experience. This contractor will be responsible for a combination of sites between CDMA and iDEN (approximately 70 sites) that he/she will be designing from scratch, some of the sites will involve the RF Design consolidation of Sprint CDMA sites and Nextel iDEN sites onto one location/one tower. In regards to details, the contractor should have at least five years of combined overall RF Engineering experience or more and meet the following minimum experience requirements: Knowledge of RF engineering tools, software, and techniques Advanced knowledge of antennas, zoning and leasing processes as they relate to RF Design Experience with DOS based PC systems and PC-based networks Ability to work with minimal supervision, must be self motivated Must have demonstrated previous experience meeting strict deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously Proficiency with spreadsheet, database, and project management tools Advanced understanding of frequency planning, capacity planning and search ring submittals Advanced computer skills in propagation modeling/designing, MS Office applications, EXCEL and UNIX based systems Good understanding of MSO/Network design and operation Cellular system performance or network experience Strong written and oral presentation skills 5 years minimum Practical/Hands-on design experience of CDMA and/or iDEN System Design
