Description
This contract opportunity for an RF Engineer is responsible for performing moderately complex RF engineering activities supporting the design, development and optimization of a wireless network.
Responsibilities include:
The individual will post-process and analyze all data collected using Windcatcher.
Able to complete site audits (AZ, coax, etc)
The individual will be using Planet to analyze desired changes to the existing network (e.g. antenna changes, AZ/DT changes, parameter changes)
Understand and manipulate EVDO translations including NL
Understand EVDO KPI/metrics (e.g. DRC rate, RAB, C/I, SINR, RNR)
Be able to review/understand EVDO statistics and be able to identify issue that need attention.
Be familiar with link budget and it's impact to voice, 1X and EVDO networks.
The candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, be motivated, and work well with others.
