Description
RF Technicians needed at a local, Olathe, KS aerospace facility. Will utilize standard operating and/or engineering instructions to perform routine to complex technical tasks. Responsible for testing of Radar/Surveillance products, including RF, electronic, and environmental testing. Must recognize, interpret and record test results so that the proper corrective measures can be made and product acceptance and reliability can be established and maintained. Troubleshoot malfunctions to component level on production and engineering units. Must have ability and willingness to participate and contribute to a team with rotating roles and responsibilities to achieve team performance goals. Accountable for production unit test results as well as personal contribution to the team. Qualifications: Experience testing and troubleshooting to component level required. RF and environmental testing experience a plus. Familiarity with the operation and capabilities of common commercial test equipment and state of the art measurement equipment required. Ability to troubleshoot digital/analog circuits and microprocessors circuits. Soldering skills. Good electronic/electrical math skills and the ability to read schematics required. Ability to cope with periods of stress, adhere to deadlines and prioritize work required. Must be a pro-active, self-driven team player with experience in a team environment. Willingness to learn new tasks and flexibility to changing roles required. Basic computer skills required. Education: AA Degree in basic electronics or military school in electronics or 2 years experience as an Advanced or Senior level Technician. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. No third party vendors, please.
