Categories: Inspectors & Testers, Manufacturing/Production Skilled TradesSupervise RF Test Lab and provide product applications, testing and marketing support for engineered solutions components under the direction of the program managerComplete daily work orders entered or approved by Product Management team.Perform RF and DC testing of products per work orders.Provide technical, product applications support to Product Management group, field sales and customers. Applications include sample-testing product from stock to determine yield impact to custom specifications and reviewing/discussing customers technical problems. Plan and implement test set-ups for specific components RF and DC test requirements, including fixture development and Labview programming.Assist and train lab staff in the set-up of new test equipment for RF Test Lab.Review and provide written comments to customer drawings/specifications. Assist product Management in preparing Internal Traveler, for work order, in accordance with a customer specification, as required.Assist Product Management in assigned customer program or project duties.Evaluate and repair returned materials as required.Insure that work and work orders are completed on time in order to meet product delivery schedules.Maintain and order (with BUM approval) equipment for the RF Test Lab.Perform other duties to support RF Test Lab including duties specified in work orders, interfacing with other departments in LaFox (i.e. Value-added, sales, customer service, product management)The testing we do here is mostly at the electronic component level eg. MMICs (Microwave MonolithicICs)Microwave radio relay system installation and routine maintenance experienceMinimum requirements are a 2 year Electronics Technology degree, with 3-5 years minimum experience iMinimum requirements are a 2 year Electronics Technology degree, with 3-5 years minimum experience in testing of electronic components in the radio frequency or microwave frequency range.
