Description
RF Test Technician The Rf Test Technician position will be responsible for both the general and detailed testing, for hand held electronic devices. It will involve operating specialized Rf test equipment and use of an Rf Test Chamber. It may also involve coordination and oversight of off-site Rf testing for Agency approval of new designs. POSITION DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential Functions performed with moderate direction from supervisor must efficiently and effectively: Have a good understanding of Rf testing techniques. Be proficient in the use of Rf test equipment such as: Spectrum Analyzer LCR Meter Network Analyzer Signal Generator Rf power amplifier Test Antenna Use of an Rf Chamber Assist the development of draft level test protocols. Good documentation of test procedures and results. Follow formal test protocols using approved templates consistent with FDA presentable documentation. Conduct forma verification testing. Build, Test and evaluate prototypes. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Write draft design verification/validation test reports. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of AA Degree or Equivalent. 1+ years involved in Rf testing. Must enjoy working in a fast paced, work intensive, and milestone driven culture. Must be capable of working with peers and subordinates on a multidisciplinary team.
