Description
My client is seeking an experienced RFIC Application Cellular Engineer to help in developing solutions supporting the next generation of 3G and 4G high-speed mobile technologies. As part of the CellAirity(tm) Mobile Platform, offers a family of HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access), WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple-Access), EDGE (Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution), GPRS (General Packet Radio Services) and GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) base band processors for use in cellular handsets, PC cards and other wireless-enabled consumer electronics.

Job Description:
Bring up, optimization, verification, and digitization of highly integrated transceivers designed for GSM, EDGE, and WCDMA. Bring up the RFIC/PCB and optimize various design parameters such as phase noise, IQ, power, gain, noise figure, AGC, filter, dc rejection, and system parameters such as EVM, PER/FER/BER, ACPR. Develop algorithms in C++ or Python to efficiently optimize and verify these RFIC and system parameters. Develop test plan and strategy to effectively screen chip at production. Perform failure analysis and resolve system malfunctions from customer returns.

Job Requirements:
MS, or BS in EE with 2-5 years of experience.
