I-SERIES TESTER SYSTEM SUPPORT
Software Spcialists is currently seeking an I-Series tester system support.
Execute existing IBM I and PC based test execution processes using detailed documentation.
The client is looking for the following skills and background:
. A four-year degree in Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science, or related field;* 3 to 5 years of IBM i (A.K.A AS/400) operational experience;* 1 to 3 years of IMB i software development experience in RPG and CL;* 1 year of formal software testing experience in planning, writing, and executing functional and system tests within a structured software development process;
. Ability to execute and troubleshoot IBM i based applications;* Ability to work independently and follow instructions;* Ability to use SQL on the IBM I to analyze data;* Ability to use Microsoft Excel to extract and analyze IBM I data;* Ability to effectively decipher and comprehend both technical and business documentation;* Ability to multitask and adjust to changing project schedules and priorities;* Experience using Mercury Quality Center a plus; and* Prior test automation experience using Mercury QTP a plus.
