The following are the specific responsibilities of this position:• Develop e-commerce websites on Rails platform using Ruby.• Develop open source software modules using Ruby and Java.• Develop content management system using Ruby on Rails.• Create unit test cases while developing code.• Create detailed design documents for major projects.• Manage change requests and code migration.• Develop and establish standards, policies & procedures in line with industry standards.• Be involved in the planning, design, and requirements gathering phases of the software development life cycle.• Work with client managers and design team to review and elaborate project requirements, estimate development effort and implement quick proofs of concept.• Work closely with designers and other software developers and coordinate efforts for timely implementation of projects.
