Description

Job Responsibilities:
Provide engineering and operational support for ABC Radio's news operation in Washington, DC.

Required Qualifications:
- Education: BS in Engineering or Communications with a emphasis on technology or Technical School certificate or equivalent
- Work Experience: Background in broadcast engineering and operations. Emphasis on audio recording, production and transmission. Must have experience on remote pick-ups. Must also have a familiarity with computer networks and Windows computer environment. Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Technical Skills: Ability to manage a Windows network a plus. Ability to service and repair audio equipment also desirable.
- Non-technical Skills: Willingness to work weekends and holidays, outside of normal hours. Willing to travel to out-of-town assignments. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must be able to pass screening by the Secret Service.
