Description
Our Dallas area client is looking to hire a Radio Software Developer on a direct hire basis.

POSITION SUMMARY

The successful candidate will be part of a team focused on the development of leading-edge radio protocol stack software for standardized wireless technologies. The position will focus on development of the physical layer software (drivers, real-time radio control, DSP, debugging and characterization of various radio components) for 2.5G and 3G mobile devices.

Responsibilities for this position includes, software development and integration for RF/radio subsystem, real-time scheduling and control, RF component performance analysis and software based performance fine-tuning, low-level driver development, hardware software integration and testing, hardware calibration and testing support, assistance in RF certification and conformance testing.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS




Strong C/C++ programming skills

Low level hardware driver development experience and assembly language programming
Knowledge of analog and digital hardware

Understanding of major component in the RF

Some DSP theory knowledge

This position is open to new graduates (academic transcripts will be required)

Requires BSEE/CS, MSEE/CS a plus
