Description
We have an exceptional Software Quality Engineer/Trainer position available for a solid Quick Test Professional (QTP)! This is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity located in Southlake, TX for an enterprise level organization.

Qualified individual will primarily be a trainer for Quick Test Professional (QTP) able to train and utilize current and advanced features of the product. This includes coaching and consulting with teams on the ability to debug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products. Individual will also develop and execute software test plans; act as a mentor to less experienced team members; analyze and write test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Design, code and execute automated test scripts. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Prepare reports and documentation updates. Technical consulting on automation issues, tools and processes. May take part in researching best practices, new tools and technology. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel.

REQUIRED:

-Minimum 6 years related experience; prior lead/supervisory experience preferred.

-Advanced computer software skills.

-Ability to lead and direct multiple projects simultaneously.

-Able to provide curriculums and training collateral for technical training; conduct classroom training.

-Documentation: Enters, transcribes, records, stores or maintains information in written or electronic form.

-Requirements Analysis: Analyzes and validates results to ensure requirements and documentation standards are met.

-Systems Analysis: Determines how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes, knowledge of products and system architecture .

-Systems Integration: Knowledge of how different systems interact, including potential problems and difficulties that may occur.

-Technology Knowledge: Knowledge of common systems, networks, platforms, tools/languages and integration points for assigned products or customers. Maintains technical knowledge in assigned areas.

-Test Engineering: Creates, executes, and documents the tests necessary to assure that an application or technical environment meets user functional and performance requirements. May also included automation test tools .

-Testing/Automation Tools: Knowledge of industry test standards and automated tools and methods that facilitate testing of software, load, performance, stress and capacity.

EDUCATION - Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
