We have a virtual recruiting position open to help our client fill positions in the Gulf Coast Region. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting engineers, research scientists and various manufacturing positions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

-Interviews applicants for open professional and managerial positions.
-Works with managers to help them identify job requirements and create interview guides.
-Analyzes and reports on employment statistics, including cost per hire, source of hire, and diversity recruiting initiatives.
-Plans and evaluates the sourcing methods used to recruit quality candidates.
-Sourcing methods include traditional as well as nontraditional methods, with an emphasis toward identifying new sources of ad placement in relation to current needs.
-Establishes procedures for recruiting and hiring.
-Reports on recruiting activities to management, identifying problem areas and potential solutions.
-Negotiates service contracts with outside vendors for temporary staffing, reference checking, and pre-employment drug testing.

Education & Professional Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in related field from a four-year college or university.

Candidate Profile:

-Six to eight years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Must have proficiency with various software applications programs including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
-Experience in managing functional groups.
-Excellent knowledge of HR personnel practices and principles.
-Thorough knowledge of all applicable labor laws, especially ADA and EEO.
-Proficient planning, time management, and decision making skills.
-Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external associates.
-Ability to generate new ideas and manage them into reality.
-Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically, with the ability to anticipate trends and assess consequences accurately.
