Randstad, the fourth largest staffing service worldwide, is seeking an IS National Recruiting Agent for its Newark, Delaware, office. This individual will be responsible for performing information systems recruiting for Randstad clients throughout the United States. This is a ground floor opportunity with high growth potential. Randstad National Recruiting Agents play a critical role as liaison between our employees, our local Agents, and our clients. Their duties require them to qualify, interview and assess potential candidates and successfully match employees skills and career goals with our clients needs. An agents duties include: interviewing, skills evaluation, placement, and interaction via telephone and in person.

The best Agents possess excellent communication and customer service skills, strong sales effectiveness and an ability to work in an innovative, energetic and fast-paced work environment. A superior perception of talented people and the smarts to strategically place that talent with our clients is a must. A 4-year degree in a related field is preferred, and 3+ years hands on experience in the IS industry is required. PR, Sales, or Customer Service experience is a plus.

As a National Recruiting Agent, you will be responding to requests for information systems professionals from Randstad offices across the US. A number of our 400 offices do not focus on information systems staffing but still have clients that prefer to work with Randstad for their IS staffing needs due to an outstanding relationship in other lines of business. You will work with Randstad agents in branches around the country to understand the clients work environment, culture, skill requirements, and intangibles that will facilitate a superior match. This will also involve direct contact with established clients to assess the potential success for the candidates you present.

Required skills:
- Passion for results
- Experience in contacts with mid to upper level management
- 3+ years hands on experience within an IS department
- Previous job title: systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Programmer/Analyst, DBA, Data Security Professional, Network Administrator, PC/Technical Support Manager, or like position
- Strong ability to communicate ideas in oral and written form
- Persuasive sales capability
- Proven people management expertise, including recruitment, staff development, and retention
- Ability and desire to network nationally to develop prospective talent relationships
- Articulate and professional, team oriented, high attention to detail.
- Knowledge of IS processes, terminology, and project lifecycles
- High energy level and strong sense of urgency
- Less than 5% travel required
