Job Information Job Title: Recruiting Assistant NE Region Start Date: 5/1/06 Duration: 6-8 week(s) End Date: 6/25/06 Employment Type: C Position Type: Full-Time Interview Period: - Start By: 5/1/06 Description/Comment: Client's Northeast Region's Centralized Recruiting Team is currently looking for a Recruiting Assistant. The primary responsibility for this position is to perform administrative activities in support of our pre and post employment recruitment processes. You will be an integral member of our recruitment team where you will be asked to provide high level of support to our four internal recruiters including the regional recruiting manager. The day to day tasks will vary but will include the following: electronic data maintenance of BrassRing, our applicant tracking system, which involves opening and closing position requisitions, posting and managing external job postings, updating candidates statuses, and running ad hoc reports. Additional responsibilities will also include scheduling and coordinating phone screens and interviews (including travel arrangements), updating our electronic and non-electronic recruiting folders, create and update staffing spreadsheets, and process communication messages to all of our external and internal applicants. This position will offer the right candidate a large amount of variety and the ability to work across geographical locations. PERFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Interested candidates must have at least 5 years of experience providing administrative assistance support to multiple executives in a professional work environment, experience supporting executives in remote locations is highly desirable. Candidate must have experience providing electronic data management and working with an internet based database. An understanding of an applicant tracking system, i.e. BrassRing is highly desirable. Candidates must be proficient in the following software applications: Outlook, Word and Excel. To be successful in this role one must have a high level of maturity, attention to details and accuracy, ability to self-manage your time in order to multi-task and prioritize assignments, solid oral and written communication skills as well as have the ability to anticipate the needs of others and take the initiative to complete a task. A sense of urgency and ability to work in a very fast paced environment will be critical to your success.
