Regional Sales Manager ATLManage a team of account managers for specific geographic, industry, vertical territory or set of named accounts. S/he is responsible for the overall sales and service activities for a set of named accounts and/or a specific geographic territory for an entire region. S/he is responsible for the attainment of assigned revenue, expense, and marketing objectives. Coordinates and supports supervisory positions in sales operations and provides direction for development of new accounts. Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, engineering and/or technical support functions of the company. Maintains and ensures profit and loss responsibility for the region. - A bachelor degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent experience- ten or more years of related experience are required.- Supervisory and coaching skills are a must. Relationship management is required. Understanding of the application, infrastructure, and managed services environment is a must. Understanding of drivers of business success from the customer’s perspective is necessary. key criteria are:1. Understands sales process, mentoring and sales force leadership.2. Understands Atlanta marketplace and infrastructure technology3. has relationships with some some infrastructure partners such as EMC,Sun,Cisco,HP,4.
