Description
A specialty chemical manufacturing leader is seeking a Regional Environmental Manager in Springfield, OR to assure compliance with environmental regulations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* Identifies emission, discharge, and waste minimization opportunities.* Helps ensure that assigned plants meet environmental regulations.* Provides environmental technical support to assigned plants.* Trains supervisors and workers * Performs other duties in support of corporate-wide environmental initiatives as assigned, including development of environmental compliance programs for use throughout the organizationWORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:* BS Degree in Engineering, preferably chemical, required.* Must be familiar with Federal and State environmental regulations, including air, wastewater, storm water, waste, and EPCRA regulations* 8 years of chemical processing experience * 5 years responsibility for environmental compliance activities, including permit application* Experience with leak detection processes and fugitive emission monitoring preferred.* Training experience preferred.TO APPLY: Apply directly at: ?r=gaddf-tc
