The Regional Sales Director is responsible for planning, managing and implementing growth-in-sales strategies to sell products, services and solutions. In this role you will be responsible for successful attainment of the territory Revenue and Margin targets by building a well-motivated, focused professional sales organization and effectively managing, cultivating relationships and selling to new and existing customers within the customer organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop sales strategies to ensure that we achieve the business revenue and gross margin goals.
  • Manages execution of account-specific strategies, programs, logistics, processes or tactics that contribute to the achievement of goals. Manages and closes sales opportunities through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning
  • Consistently build & deliver on an accurate account and territory pipeline.
  • Provide all the necessary Services to enable resellers to maximize revenues for Avid.
  • Manage the staff in the local offices by providing good professional leadership
  • Maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction within the territory by building a focused and professional support infrastructure.
  • Improve Avid's market share and brand awareness in key product areas and key markets
  • Propose, plan and execute marketing activities in the region.
  • Engages with senior level stakeholders within AVID to advance complex Services opportunities, review areas of risk, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Sales thought leader, influencing how segment functions/engages client set.
  • Creates superior relationships with senior level executives and influential stakeholders to sustain a long-term relationship. Maintains high profile with all key customers.
  • Has boardroom/executive presence.
  • Maintains a knowledge of company products, services & solutions as well as new technology available on the market in order to compete effectively in the market.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree with at least 15 years experience in sales; 10 + years in a sales management capacity.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 10+ years Broadcast industry experience desired; 10+ years in high tech required
  • A deep rolodex of contacts in the Media & Entertainment space
  • Proven track record of successful & profitable results
  • Previous experience selling solutions-based products and services/ solutions
  • Proven skills in negotiating and closing new business deals.
  • Broad knowledge of technology, strategies, business processes, financial management and strategic planning. Can engage customers in strategic discussions relating to their operations, goals & performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities, attract new business and build lasting professional relationships with senior-level executives
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycle, with a track record of successful revenue attainmentdf-tc
