The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for selling our client?s=0A Network Security solutions in their assigned, named account, territory. The=0A Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for prospecting, account=0A development, and opportunity management using consultative selling=0A approaches focused on providing networking solutions for identified customer=0A technical and business requirements.=0A * Working with the Pre-Sales Systems Engineers, VARs, and / or Solution=0A Partners, the Account Executive is responsible for insuring that a complete=0A solution is presented to the customer including the integration of the our=0A client?s solution and addressing the customers design automation=0A requirements over their location(s).=0A * Initiate marketing and sales activities at major accounts to=0A stimulate, encourage, establish and develop major account relationships for=0A our client Inc. Provide territory management data: forecasts, account=0A management documentation, and activity reports to the firm?s management=0A providing basis for strategic account planning.=0A * Identify, evaluate and respond to key business issues of the account=0A and develop, present and demonstrate the firm?s capabilities to the=0A customer. Develop and present solution oriented proposals consisting of a=0A technical solution and business ROI analysis.=0A * Introduce and integrate the firm?s technical resources and / or VAR=0A personnel to the customer to demonstrate capability, educate customer=0A personnel and facilitate project management. Oversee post-sales support to=0A ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.=0A * Maintains relationships and favorable contacts with current and=0A potential customers. Targets potential customers and develops relationships=0A in order to acquire new accounts. Relies on extensive experience and=0A judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.=0A =0A DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:=0A Strong sales background, selling large computer, networking, or software=0A solutions into Fortune 1000 accounts=0A Experience in selling high technology network product solutions in WAN & LAN=0A environments with particular emphasis on IP, ATM and Frame Relay protocol=0A implementations is a plus. Strong business acumen with the ability to=0A identify the business value add and to develop and present the ROI case for=0A the proposed solution.=0A Minimum 7 + years of high-tech sales experience.=0A =0A * Proven performance selling into Fortune 1000 companies.=0A * Proven quota performance in direct sales is a must.=0A * Must and have prior experience selling in the geographical area=0A stated.=0A * Excellent verbal and written communication=0A =0A PC literate in basic Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel &=0A PowerPoint).The ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment=0A is a must.=0A =0A EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:=0A =0A * Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Business=0A or Marketing or equivalent and at least 7 years of experience in the field=0A or in a related area with large account solution sales.df-tc
