Overview:

This company is a certified Oracle reseller and implementation partner representing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and Oracle E-Business Suite within the SMB channels. They have been in business since 1987 and has been implementing ERP systems since 1991. Headquartered out of Portland, OR. they currently have over 70 employees, have been profitable every year and plan to double their growth within the next 3 years.

They are currently seeking a talented individual for the position of Regional Sales Manager for the Northwest Region (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska and Western Canada). As the primary coordinator of the sales effort related to business solution sales activities, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for initiating the sales effort, managing virtual sales team activities, securing and supporting executive communication, developing the appropriate technical, business process and business value messaging and securing each sale with the appropriate contracts and agreements.

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the Regional Sales Manager are:

* Initiating the sales effort, cold calling, prospecting, procuring leads, managing virtual sales team and prospect activities, securing and supporting executive communication, developing the appropriate technical, business process and business value messaging and securing each sale with the appropriate contracts and agreements.
* The performance of this individual will be measured in terms of software license, support and services revenue driving towards quota attainment while maintaining strong and positive working relationships with the Oracle sales teams.
* Key decisions made by a RSM are focused on the individual sales opportunities and how these opportunities are executed.
* Activities include but are not limited to, cold calling/prospecting, qualifying a lead, developing the opportunity, providing proof and a solution, ?the close? process, and preparing contractual documents.
Primary decisions include use of their resources to support business solution sales, messaging and processes that will be leveraged in the sales process and business terms that will apply to a specific opportunity/prospect relationship. *
You will also rely on the Oracle account team and the resources within the broader enterprise sales team to effectively execute the sales process.

Requirements:

The primary requirements for the Regional Sales Manager are:

* BA/BS in a business, sales/marketing or technology related field is preferred.
* Must have direct selling experience in ERP industry.
* Knowledge of the Oracle product line(s) or related ERP solutions is strongly preferred (e.g. Sage, SAP, Microsoft Great Plains, Axapta or Navision, Lawson, Timberline, PCS, Epicor, QAD, MAPICS, IFS, Intentia, Scala, Fourth Shift, Macola, Lilly, SSA, Exact).
* In addition, this role requires strong professional communication ability - both written and oral.
* The role also requires significant knowledge of the technology industry with an ability to analyze and communicate a technical solution in simple, customer-oriented terms.
* To effectively execute the business solutions sales process, this individual is also required to understand sales methodologies, sales management, virtual sales coordination and negotiation.

Compensation:

* Base ($75K - $85K) + commissions =3D $200K+ (at plan)
* Full benefit package
