Description
Responsibilities:
Ensure integrity and maintainability of multiple build environments. Support the overall release process to ensure high-quality builds.
Work with team members to improve the build methodology.
Participate in establishing robust code structures and reliable code control procedures. Participate in creation and/or maintenance of a code change audit trail.
Ensure overall code integrity in all of the environments and code version control system (Perforce) by assisting in resolving build related issues.
Participate in the configuration of multiple test environments.
Participate in the development of deployment and rollback procedures.
Respond to scheduling related issues as necessary.
Execute regular backups for all critical platforms.
Communicate build and release related issues to management.

Experience/Skills
Minimum of two years hands-on experience with Perl. Minimum of one year hands-on experience with Perforce Administration (or equivalent). Understanding of the software development lifecycle and the controls, and audits that take place at each step. Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills. University Graduate (Bachelors degree) or equivalent. Desirable Skills Two years of experience working in an Internet / E-Commerce application development environment. Two years of experience working with web server technologies. One year of experience working with OO applications. One year of experience working with a major relational database. One year of experience working with major application server software. Good working knowledge of network and system administration.
