We are currently seeking a Release and Systems Engineer.

The Automation and Release Infrastructure group has an opportunity within Site Management for a Release Systems Engineer. The candidate will work directly with development and operations teams to ensure that all aspects of content deployment are handled appropriately.

The selected individual will:

* Package and deploy site assets to a variety of environments, from test to production
* Collaborate with operations teams to manage risk in relation to production content deployment
* Work in a dynamic and challenging environment with high visibility products as well as mainstream projects
* Provide ClearCase support in content management context for development teams
* Be content experts for all teams and business partners
* Develop and monitor content deployment policies and procedures
* Provide training for development teams on content deployment policy and process
* Troubleshoot content issues in development and production and work with peer operations and development teams to resolve

Experience/Skills
Skills required:

* Strong project management skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are expected, along with a demonstrated ability to balance priorities and simultaneous projects
* Strong knowledge of Source Control Management (SCM) best practices; ClearCase practitioner is preferred
* Experience with code management methodologies and process automation using scripting languages (Perl and shell scripts) is preferred
* Commitment to quality and customer service
* Strong judgment, issues and risk management and problem analysis techniques and the ability to work as an individual contributor
* Experience in the following is required: Unix, ClearCase or other source control software, content management
* Computer related technical degree or experience required
