Description
Improve the reliability of electromechanical systems (i.e., automation and robotics) utilizing analytical and test techniques.


Responsibilities include: performing reliability prediction and setting reliability goals for new products, facilitating FMEA and FTA sessions with product development team, contributing on design reviews focusing on reliability, formulating test methods for achieving required levels of product reliability,creating detailed test plans to meet product reliability goals, improving product reliability at subsystem and system levels, providing means to collect reliability data, applying statistical analysis to interpret reliability data, analyzing data, perform root cause analysis, and validate corrective actions, documenting failure reports, conducting internal and customer presentations, evaluating field data to determine system performance, conduct occasional quality and reliability audits of suppliers, leading technicians to execute and set up test cases.

Requires BS in an engineering discipline, five years reliability engineering work in designing and testing electromechanical systems (e.g. automation and robotics) and/or electronic equipment. Formal experience/training on FMEA, FTA, process improvement through reliability prediction and modeling, and development of test cases. HALT, HASS and DOE experience preferred.

Candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and a desire to work in a team environment. PC/software proficiency to include MS Windows and MS Office. Domestic and international travel required. For consideration, please submit resume and salary requirement.df-tc
