Description
Enterprise Application Administrator for Remedy in Jacksonville, Florida

A Prime Solution serves the Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, Jupiter and Jacksonville metro areas.

We are seeking people with the following skills:

1. Install and upgrade application software and tools. This may be in conjunction with a larger project team.
2. Assist in the design and implementation of applications
3. Monitor, tune, administer and maintain applications.
4. Assist in the designing, testing, development, and implementation of effective backup and restore techniques at application level.
5. Assist development team with data modeling, physical design and application tuning.
6. Design, develop and test programs for monitoring, tuning and maintaining applications.
7. Monitor and maintain security and data integrity.
8. Participate in technical design reviews and recommend solutions and improvements.
9. Technical supervision of junior level personnel.
10. Manage the IT and end user relationship by direct contact with the end users in order to understand business needs and direction, anticipated IT support and end user expectations directly related to the products.
11. Respond to production issue and problems both on a productive and reactive basis by appropriate methods in order to provide a high level of end user system access.
12. Team with appropriate IT departments for system upgrades, enhancements and new software releases by using established communication methods in order to provide the most current level of application features to the end user.
13. Conducts studies and investigations pertaining to development of new systems or enhancements to meet current or projected needs.
14. Documents new, or modifies existing procedures to maintain backup and recovery standards and transfer of knowledge.

Canidates should be well versed in the following skills areas:

At least five (5) years of Remedy administration and development. At least seven (7) years of total IT experience.

Remedy ARS, Remedy WEB, Remedy Help Desk, SQL, Pearl, PL/SQL, AIX, C/C+, KSH, Change Management, Asset Management, SLA

This is a full time position with a large public corporation in Jacksonville, Florida. No relocation assistance, NO sponsorship and absolutely no 3rd party vendors/hotlists.df-tc
