Remedy Administrator opportunity in Redwood City, CA!

Responsibilities:

Maintains and administers enterprise Remedy ITSM applications and related software supporting business requirements (NetCool, DevTrak, Tibco). Install and upgrade application software and tools. Assist in the design and implementation of modifications to applications and data. Monitor, tune, administer and maintain applications. Design, develop and test programs as per business requirements. Research and investigate new functionality or enhancements to meet current or projected business needs. Document and implement new or modifications to existing procedures so as to maintain backup and recovery standards and transfer of knowledge. Follows standard business practices for migrating code to production.


Identifies, evaluates, develops tests, implements and maintains functionality of Remedy AR System.
Responsible for server management, capacity planning and performance monitoring of the Remedy AR System.
Trouble shoot and bug fixing
Identifies and configures the licenses affecting ARSystem users.
Clean up and maintain data errors in the system
Train new user to the helpdesk system
Maintains an AR System server by setting server parameters and import data from other sources.
Knowledge and Skills Desired:
At least three years of Remedy Administration and Development experience with proficiency in ARS 5.x and Mid-Tier and five years of total IT experience
In-Depth knowledge of workflow for ITSM Suite (Remedy Help Desk, Change Management, Asset Management), SLA, and Flashboards
Familiarity with Help Desk, Change, and Asset business processes.
Familiarity with Linux, Apache, Tomcat, and Oracle systems
Self-motivated and possess high personal ethics. Must be able to work as part of a team and alone with minimal supervision
Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
