We have an immediate need for a MS Sharepoint, Exchange Server & Symantec

JOB DESCRIPTION
CDI IT Solutions is currently looking to fill multiple MS SharePoint Services v 2.0, Symantec Enterprise Vault and MS Exchange/MS Office Communications Server professionals. Work from home/remote opportunities. Senior level skills required. 12 month W2 renewable contract opportunity with medical and 401K.

1st shift - M-F 8am-5pm Central Time
Some international travel may be required to perform knowledge transfer
Some travel to Houston or Chicago may be required to perform knowledge transfer
Some Transition staff may be held over to provide steady state support

Facilitate transfer of support responsibilities for groupware infrastructure and support services for approximately 125,000 seats of MS Exchange, MS SharePoint, Symantec Enterprise Vault and MS Office Communication Server.

- Participate in due diligence data collection and knowledge transfer from existing support staff
- Document existing production platforms
- Document support processes in preparation for turnover to Steady State support staff
- Evaluate current platforms ability to support availability, capacity and performance SLAs
- Evaluate architecture against IBM and industry best practices and identify gaps
- Assist steady state support team in assuming support responsibilities for production services
