Job Title: Report AnalystLocation: CA - Long BeachJob Description: Support Finance and Data Warehouse team by creating health care operations and financial reports to support Business Intelligence activities. * Transition of existing operational and financial reports from various publication sources (Such as MS EXCEL & MS ACCESS) into MS SQL 2005 Reporting Services * Responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of new reports * Create reports to deliver DW information in clear and concise terms to end users * Extract requirements from business users * Data extracts from existing SQL databases * Create advance reports using SSRS including: o Drill-Down o Drill-Through o Charts o Custom Fields o Conditional expressions * Contributes to group effort by working effectively with DW team * Demonstrates strong documentation skills by developing superior technical specifications, diagrams, logic charts, etc. * General understanding of the following financial reports o Income Statement o Balance sheetRequirements BA or BS or equivalent experience required 1 Years experience using SQL Server required 1 Experience with SSRS is required Proficiency in coding SQL/T-SQL required Understanding of data warehouse practices including STAR schema design a big plus Understanding financial data a big plus Understanding SSAS a big plus Healthcare / Managed Care industry reporting and analysis experience a big plus Excellent technical, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills requiredRequired Education: 4 Year Degree Bonus: Required Experience: At least 1 year(s) Other: Required Travel: Not Specified Employee Type: Full-Time Employee Relocation Covered: Nodf-tc
