Berean Group is seeking a Reporting Developer / Analyst



Position Description:



Berean Group is seeking a Reporting Developer / Analyst.
The ideal candidate will analyze and develop reports that will support the clients enhanced Asset Management reporting program. Candidate will understand the data flow and work with the team to develop new reports to support internal customers. The candidate will need to recommend appropriate reporting technologies preferably using existing in-house tools. The primary responsibilities are to complete requirements definition, develop the reports, lead the testing efforts, implement, document all aspects of the project, prepare and present training materials as necessary, and perform a clean and complete handoff to the Asset Management team.



Skills/Experience:



7+ years experience working with reporting processes, tools and best practices, including experience with Crystal Reports, MS-Access, and other report writing tools

4-year college degree or equivalent experience working in some capacity with report development.

Ability to understand how asset management strategies are aligned and integrated with Enterprise IT vision and strategies.

Ability to apply detailed knowledge of critical business information, metrics and processes to understand how information is used to manage the business.

Understanding of reporting best practices and how they can be applied appropriately.

Ability to set up feedback mechanisms/ procedures for new system development to identify future problems and opportunities.

Ability to develop a clear, complete understanding of customer needs and problems (e.g., through careful listening, probing, encouraging or summarizing) and translate customer requirements into system requirements (including what can be done within and outside the system).

Ability to identify and share best practices
