Description
Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated is looking for a Business Analyst to fill a contract position at a customer site in Groton, CT. This position is an analyst to support reporting and analysis of the portfolio. Two main components of this position are: Report Development/Writing: Perform ad-hoc reporting as needed. Gather requirements and build associated queries to satisfy needs. Identify gaps in existing reporting environment and make recommendations. Data Analysis: Support the analysis data (available from a variety of sources). Identify trends and root cause issues; make recommendations. Create presentations in support of overall portfolio analysis. Overall, support the ?connect the dots? effort between financial targets, project/portfolio, plan vs. forecast and the measurement and monitoring necessary to make decisions. Skills: Demonstrated experience in reporting and metric analysis. Must be detailed oriented and have a demonstrated expertise in all aspects of data analysis and presentations. Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to partner with other organizations in a matrixed environment; Business analysis proficiency in developing structured documentation of existing or new processes; Strong communications skills; Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing with portfolio management and management. Demonstrated analytical skills to study data and develop themes and recommendations. No 3rd Party Vendors.

Requirements:

Advanced knowledge of project management tools, MS project is a plus Experienced in Crystal reports, Business Objects, and other reporting tools Strong skills in MS office, especially Excel Worked in an environment with multiple integrated systems Excellent communications skills, both verbal and writtendf-tc
