RESIDENT ENGINEER

MUST POSSESS-LAN experience; have an understanding of LAN programs
Vehicle testing; bench testing
Use of NEO vi test tool; CAT tool and Hercules

Job Description:
Position Purpose:
Assist the design engineer in defining requirements, evaluation design alternatives, verifying performance, resolution of issues and process improvements.
Qualifications
Education and/or experience:
BSEE or BSME
Minimum of 5 years experience in design or development
Good written and oral communication skills =E2=80=93 must be able to clearly and concisely communicate technical information
Good interpersonal skills =E2=80=93 must work well on a team
Good organizational skills =E2=80=93 must be able to manage several projects efficiently
Willingness and ambition to work under pressure, meet schedules and maintain a high level of output
Proficiency in the use of PC=E2=80=99s
Experience with electromagnetic compatibility design, development or testing
Experience with requirement of definition using structured analysis methods
Responsibilities: (essential duties)
Release parts using E-Squared system
Coordinate PDT meetings (set agenda and record/publish minutes)
Assist with the definition of system requirements
Resolve issues on assigned component technical specification sections
Work with requirement owners
Initiate system requirement change requests
Coordinate and chair communication meetings
Verify parts meets specifications utilizing Bench
Recommend additional testing and development as required
Determine and investigate design alternatives
Determine and investigate mechanization alternatives
Prepare project plans
Assist with the resolution of system issues
Determine root cause and resolution to part issues (parts in production and development)
Prepare and present responses to action items
Participate in design reviews
Assist with the failure mode and effects analysis process
Maintain an awareness of programs and vehicle systems
Represent position when communicating with their company
Complete special projects
Determine improvements to the processdf-tc
