Thank you for stopping by to review our latest opportunity!Title: Resident System Support Specialist (RS3) Location: Alaska....Ft. Richardson (initially) then on to Ft. Greely.Type: six months + (service agreement with client could extend up to two years) Target Start: March/April Time FramePay: $20-34/hour DOE...W-2 all inclusive...sorry no reloScope: The RS3 will be primarily responsible for providing technical assistance to maintain contracted levels of System Availability. This applies only to the basic network/components and all submsequent phases/additions impelemented since the effective date of the System Warranty. Will report to and assist the DOIM POC. Survey, analyze, evaluate and provide technical advice/trouble resolution pertaining to the performance and functionality of the installed I3MP (Installation Information Infrastructure Modernizatio Program) System/Network.Provided technical assistance and training to government personnel in the maintaining and operating of installed system. This job is anticipated to start at Ft Richardson which is in the Anchorage area. From there you would be working at Ft. Greely (Delta Junction) which is 326 miles NE of Anchorage and 95 miles SE of Fairbanks. The best way to research Ft. Greely is to search under Delta Junction, AK. There is a thriving town up there!This is for those who love the great outdoors.

Requirements:

Must be U.S. Citizen.Must have current or recently inactivated Secret Security ClearanceMust have three or more years in Network Administration (LAN, WAN, routers, switches, hubs). Prefer prior experience with the military...Army background would be a perfect fit but other branches AOK either as a former service member, GS employee or contractor (It is important to have an understanding of military protocol and even better if one has direct experience with military LAN/WAN systems).Two year technical degree preferred.
