Primary Functions: Assume responsibility for assigned technical infrastructure design and development efforts.This position is all about senior Retail systems knowledge to help client replace existing system with Tomax and will help set a course for the future. Qualifications required:In-depth knowledge of Retail Brick and Mortar business processes and industry best practicesSignificant experience working in a multi-channel retail environmentTechnically savvy individual who understands and advocates for Enterprise Architecture principles and has experience working with Enterprise Application Integration tools and methodologiesApplication Architect experienceExperience working with applications covering multiple platforms (MVS, Unix, Linux, large multi-processor data warehouses) and databases (DB2, Oracle)Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and comfortable working with and communicating at all levels in the organizationExperienced at setting multi-year, p hased strategies for information technology to support a multi-year business planA strong team player and collaborator that can help develop and enforce directions and standards for application development* Stays current on technology trendsCoaches and consults with others to develop team members or influence technology outcomesSpecific Functions:Participation in the selection of hardware and software productsLeadership of software evaluation and benchmarkingLeadership of custom tool development efforts; development of product evaluation and benchmarking methods and tools; physical infrastructure design and implementationInterface with senior IT and business managementTechnical supervision and guidance of subordinate positions as assigneddf-tc
