The eCommerce Operations team is seeking a Risk Manager to own critical work streams and be part of a team supporting senior leadership with the eCommerce Sales and Service Operations.

Responsibilities include:
Proactively managing risk related to eCommerce Operations including web sites, agent queues, and other online services (email, chat, mobile, alerts, etc.). The candidate would be responsible for managing a direct team, as well as cross functional performing teams to ensure quick and accurate response to business risk events, as well as working through processes to proactively mitigate risk.Candidate will be expected to elevate issues as appropriate to senior leadership and stakeholder groups, use integrated analytic skills to identify potential downstream impacts, and serve as a risk consultant lead in implementations.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
2 years experience in managing a team

Preferred Qualifications:


BS with quantitative area of study preferred


Experience with Capital One operations and/or electronic channels.Preferred candidates will have both, as well as a passion for customer care through e-servicing.

Proven success in management of a project or process as lead performer.Process certification (BPM, Green Belt) with six sigma methodology strongly preferred.
Reputation for fostering strong collaboration in cross-functional groups, as well as comfortably working autonomously.
Ability to successfully manage a high volume of requests, diplomatically questioning and offering push back when needed.
Ability to communicate to a varied audiences, including senior leadership, in both written and verbal communications
Analytical and methodical approach to problem-solving.
Rigorous attention to detail
Previous experience with process/operational risk assessment & management (FMEA, process control plans)df-tc
