Description
Assess multiple ground systems to be used in Hubble Space Telescope Robotic Servcing Mission and develop system requirements, archtitecure, design and plan for their integration. Knowledge of spacecraft operations required. Ability to design system improvements with overall life cycle cost benefits. Ability to improve systems deployment processes.

General Position Description
Develops and publishes corporate business automation plans using cost-effective delivery technologies in support of major corporate strategies. Performs complex software design activities integrating multiple technologies. Provides architectural guidelines for all software design activities to current and future technological environments. Maintains state-of-the-art knowledge of technologies, planning, design, and analysis methodologies. Responsible for the design and architectural guidelines for current and future software technological activities.

Typical Minimum Education
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.
