Systems Architect 5
Experience Level: 4 year degree plus 7-10 years experience. Description: Develops and maintains business system and corporate architectures. Conducts highly complex technology and system assessments, including solutions to enhance or create new business opportunities, integrating multiple technologies. Acts as lead in component architecture and participates in enterprise architecture. Provides in-depth technical and systems consultation to internal clients and technical management in all areas of the business to ensure conformity with corporate architecture.

Required
Expertise in one of more of the following open systems disciplines: server, storage, network, database, security
Expert level understanding of application frameworks including .NET and J2EE
Demonstrated understanding of high availability architectures including application, server, storage, network, database, security
Proven track record of developing and documenting n-tier system architectures
Proven track record of providing infrastructure cost estimates
Proven track record of providing consultations with application development teams
Proven track record of providing alternative design options with supporting documentation detailing trade-offs
Demonstrated ability to create designs that meet the following objectives: cost, standards, availability, performance
Proven track record of supporting system administration teams throughout implementation phase
Proven track record of meeting demanding project timelines
Ability to work independently.
Proven track record of navigating a complex organizational structure to find answers and keep work moving
Excellent communicator, both verbal and written

Preferred
Experience with EA Sparx and UML
Experience in the financial services sect
