Description
Work on backlog SAN requests. Candidate must be very knowledgeable in EMC, Hitachi, IBM storage subsystems. Also, excellent working knowledge of Mcdata Fibre directors. General SAN methodology skills a must. We are looking for seasoned Technical Professionals with a minimum of 3 years of experience. Storage Area Networking administrator for large commercial account. Knowledge of McData directors, EMC and Hitachi arrays. Experience with Storage Area Networks and managing SANs is required. You will be responsible for implementing, maintenance, and detailed reporting, management, space allocation, and problem determination/resolution of storage devices and related monitoring. Duties include on-call functions, day to day monitoring and troubleshooting, and project management for SAN implementation and SAN related activities. A broad range of SAN knowledge and operating system experience is required. Preferred Technical Skills: Storage Solutions: Shark/ESS EMC Hitachi FastT Fibre Channel: McData fibre switch family Brocade and/or Q Logic experience is a plus Software: McData EFCM ESS Expert and Specialist Brocade fabric watch is a plus Servers experience required Unix experience required AIX and/or Linux skills preferred
