Install, configure, test, and implement storage management software and hardware and monitor use and availability of storage resources, ? Troubleshoot storage related issues and take appropriate actions ? Generate reports and analysis on storage usage. ? Provide efficient and reliable storage allocation and define backup, recovery, and archival procedures and develop and implement business continuity practices for storage management. ? Maintain storage configurations to provide capacity planning and performance monitoring/tuning of systems. ? Possess skills and knowledge related to network, operating systems, Storage Area Network (SAN), Network Attached Storage (NAS), Wide Area File Services (WAFS), and tape backup solutions. ? Install and configure new and existing storage devices and corresponding software.

Requirements:

? Thorough knowledge of storage architecture design techniques, theories, principles, and practices. ? Experience in SAN /NAS/DAS/WAFS, storage administrator, designing, installing, configuring, and supporting storage servers. ? Experience with EMC Storage products (Symmetrix, CLARiiON and Celerra). ? Skills in UNIX and Windows operating systems. ? Experience with Network Appliance (FAS) and Cisco WAFS a plus. ? Experience with Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) and NDMP a plus. ? Excellent documentation skills. ? Strong verbal and written communication skills.df-tc
