Description
Will serve as a SAN(Storage Admin) Engineer for a growing company. Will provide SAN Administration and Engineering support for an Enterprise storage team. Support engineering projects spanning both Microsoft and UNIX platforms. Design and implement storage solutions to support a myriad of applications, servers, and platforms. Patch, troubleshoot, and administer SAN and switches. Requirements include: -Must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, EAD Cardholder, or otherwise able to work in the US without any kind of sponsorship -At least 6 years providing Server and/or SAN administration support. -Experience with Hitachi (HDS), Veritas, Brocade, QLogic, MPXIO, enterprise storage manager (ESM), remote copy, shadow image. -Minimum of 3 years supporting cross-platform storage environments. -Must have clustering, replication, and failover experience. -Must be familiar with emulation strategies and ramifications. -Must have worked in large-scale enterprise environment using Hitachi 9980 SAN to support both Windows and UNIX (Solaris and Linux) platforms. -BS in engineering, computer science, or related field. Desired Skills include: -Experience supporting MS Exchange, MS SQL Server, Oracle RDBMS. -NAS experience a plus. -Experience with Sun 6130 and 6320 a plus.
