Position Summary:

We are looking for SAN/NAS Storage Engineer experienced with HDS storages and strong Windows hosts administration background and understanding of CIFS, AD & Windows Storage Management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Storage infrastructure Architecture, Design, Implementation, Maintenance and Support.
Administration of Windows based File Server environment.

Qualifications:

Technical Qualifications
..Strong understanding of Hitachi Data Systems or EMC storage hardware and software architectures, HDS experience preferred.
Understanding of RAID concepts and RAID Group configuration
LUN security and LUN provisioning
Storage array port configuration

..SAN Architecture and implementation
Familiarity with SAN Directors such as Cisco Multilayer Directors (MDS)
Operational experience with Cisco SAN-OS

..Administration of Netapp Filers
NAS Operations involving Common Internet Files System (CIFS) and Network File System (NFS). Storage Area Network (SAN)
DataONTAP Administration that involves good understanding of native snapshots, snapmirror replication, WAFL, FilerView

..Experience with Acopia ARX1000 switch
Replication/Data Migration/ILM using Acopia switch

..Windows Server OS Experience
Windows 2000, Windows 2003 (32 bit and 64 bit)
Experience with HP Blade P and C class hardware
Volume, file system and share management
Windows Cluster administration
HBA configuration
LUN mapping
Path Management using primarily Emulex HBA's

..Backup Operations
Veritas Netbackup Enterprise Server 5.0/6.0. Backup Policy Management

..Good overall understanding of multiple storage technologies Hardware (EMC, Hitachi), Configuration Tools (EMC Control Center, Hitachi Hi-Command etc.), Volume Management Tools (Veritas Volume Manager), Replication Tools (VVR) Tape Archival (Veritas NetBackup) and geographic data replication technologies.


Non-Technical
Position requires 7x24 hour support
Good problem solving skills
Ability to communicate in an open and honest environment.
Must adhere to all standard operating procedures - experience with SOX or FDA regulated computer systems is highly desirable
Must be able to effectively operate as a member of a cross-functional team
