SAN Storage Specialist

We are looking for a seasoned SAN storage professional with solid EMC knowledge for a client in Las Vegas.

Title: SAN Storage Specialist
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
Compensation: The base salary is open depending on the skill and experience level, but targeting $90k-$110k. Solid benefits. Relocation assistance is available.

Required:
We are looking for an EMC storage specialist that will get their hands dirty, as well as lead.
Current 8+ years technical knowledge and experience in operational maintenance, availability, capacity planning, and monitoring of critical Storage Area Networking (SAN) and other storage related environments.
Must have experience with distributed systems, storage arrays, replication and virtualization technologies, volume and file system management products and backup solutions.

General:
Will manage over 700 Terabytes of SAN with mix of Symmetrix, CLARiiON, Centera disk.
Architect and manage large Tivoli Storage Manager environment to backup Windows, Linux, and Unix Servers.
Lead the full life cycle management of the large scale, multi-tier Storage Area Networks with EMC products including requirements gathering, design, implementation and support.
Drive projects to reduce infrastructure costs, create a scalable architecture and meet dynamic business demands.
Manage system capacity planning on complex systems.
Day to day activities include storage provisioning, performance tuning, adding volumes, Scripting for automating of tasks, assigning ports, error tracking, data movement, software configurations, product evaluation, and addressing compatibility issues.

Design, implement and support an Enterprise wide e-mail solution, including Internet connectivity.
