Description
We are currently recruiting for a Senior SAN System Engineer, The ideal candidate is proficient with at least one or more of the following SUN/Hitachi/3rd Party Storage Area Network devices (Sun StorEdge 3510, Sun StorEdge 3511, Sun S1 Array, Hitachi 9960, Hitachi 9980, and 3PAR Inserv)and network switch products (to include: Brocade 3800, Brocade 12K, Cisco MDS 9509, Cisco MDS 9506, Cisco MDS 9140, and Cisco MDS 9216);. The engineer will be responsible for meeting with the client technical staff analyze collected data, collaborate with team members and implement an optimized, resource efficient, accredit able solutions. Must meet implementation, quality, schedule and project/task objectives while sharing best practices with peers and management. You must have excellent technical, organizational, interpersonal and customer- service focused skills. Required Qualifications:
7-10 years of active SAN Administration and support experience in a SAN network environment
Strong SUN administration and hardware knowledge
Deep knowledge of Sun/Hitachi storage arrays
Must be able to work independently and cross-functionally in a team environment
Must be customer oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must have Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Stable employment history Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with 5 to 8 years experience (or equivalent) directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Perform installation, maintenance and support of system software, infrastructure and user support for moderate to complex projects.
May oversee this effort if acting in team lead capacity . Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Must have excellent English written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, matrix team oriented environment and adapt quickly to new tools, technologies, and priorities.

Experience in working projects that utilize remote resources
