Description

Advanced UNIX Server Administration (preferably Sun Solaris). Architect, build, monitor, and manage highly available, secure Unix environments. Design / Architecture of large-scale Sun environments with a focus on high availability including creation of detailed technical blueprints. Server sizing and capacity planning. Help in creation of project work plans with a focus on defining detailed technical tasks and estimating resource requirements. Critical Infrastructure (Veritas Netbackup / Storage Area Network) team lead. Perform project management & supervision for 3 data center site Veritas Netbackup and Brocade / Hitachi SAN infrastructures. Interface with UNIX and Windows server teams to determine requirements for data backups and SAN storage for new and existing applications.. Interface with server teams to resolve issues with SAN storage and backups. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be US citizen or green card holder. No third party.
