BearingPoint GTS is currently searching for SAP ABAP Consultants with HR and ISOil experience.

Role: Primary Role is to provide first level production support for SAP Human Resources 4.7 module.

Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in SAP ABAP development. The candidate must have knowledge of the SAP modules Human Resources (HR) and Industry Solution (IS_OIL).
Knowledge of the Oil/Gas industry is preferred.
Must have experience designing, developing, and exposing SAP BAPI objects.
Must have experience in designing, developing and deploying SAP interfaces with external application systems.
The candidate must have a thorough understanding of ABAP Workbench tools such as ABAP Dictionary, ABAP Editor, Area Menus, SAP Script, Function Builder, Transactions, and Business Object Builder.
This position requires good interpersonal skills. Must able to work well with others. Must have good communication skills, both written and oral. Must be willing to operate in a demanding and deadline driven environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provides assistance to the Business Analyst with the analysis of ABAP change requests.
- Performs SAP ABAP code changes according to requirements specified by the IT Business Analyst.
- Adheres to client's ABAP Programming Policies and Guidelines.
- Document all status changes in Test Director for each request.
- Assisting with the testing of the work request during the development phase.

Candidates must have the ability to accommodate a Monday-Friday travel schedule to the client location (San Antonio, TX) returning on the weekends.
