Description
Provide 12 months of primarily onsite SAP systems administration support for SAP; includes basic user administration, managing print, maintaining basic authorizations, supporting change management, and other day-to-day SAP administration tasks. Performs system refreshes, client copies, and applies support packages, software patches and fixes. Defines and documents technical system requirements and systems management procedures. Installs, configures, optimizes, and support database components and related technologies. Performs daily system health checks, including regular checks spanning SAP and database technical components. Maintains and tracks database growth, leveraging SAP, RDBMS, OS, and disk subsystem tools and utilities. Ensures database performance is an acceptable component of overall response time. Works with other SAP specialists and project leadership to maximize system availability, balancing maintenance needs with administration requirements. No specific deliverables.

Experience/Skills
Administration experience and/or recent training required with regard to SAP R/3 or ECC, SAP Enterprise Portal, SAP CRM, and/or SAP XI. MCSE or equivalent experience with mission-critical Windows environments (i.e. 4 years) required. Experience with MS SQL Server in mission-critical environments required. SAPGUI and other front-end client expertise required.

Other desired skills:
