Description
1) A proven SAP Techno Functional Business Analyst responsible for providing functional/configuration knowledge in designing, implementing and supporting SAP solutions in the PLM (Product Life Cycle Management) module. Of particular importance is experience with classification, project systems, DMS, and ECM. The goal is to help management better understand the relationships between markets, products and processes as well as to better understand the true ROI of product and process development. This position will also support the QM, PM, and Work flow areas of PLM.

2) Work in partnership with business users across the company to understand new business strategies. Perform detail analysis of requirements from technical and functional stand point. Evaluate solution alternatives and make recommendations for the most efficient business solutions. Implement the proposed solutions with predetermined resources and timelines.

3) Technical expert in identification, design, configuration, customizing, testing and debugging of the PLM modules. Analyze business processes, recommend SAP PLM best practices and provide concept/detailed designs. Perform unit and integration testing to insure the quality of new functionality and enhancements. Ensure SAP service levels are met, and project objectives are accomplished with in deadlines.

4) Provide support and problem resolution through Helpdesk system to Global SAP PLM users on a daily basis. Help users to determine SAP solutions for problems in their daily work process and provide directions in order to improve business processes and reporting systems.

5) Work closely with developers for the development activities. Prepare detailed functional and technical specifications for custom reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms etc. Responsible for maintaining and supporting interfaces between SAP and external systems.

6) Prepare documentation for process design, business blue printing, programming specifications, user training, testing or any other documentation required in support of SAP system.

Experience/Skills
1) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

2) Four years of hands on SAP PLM configuration/support experience especially in
- Project systems
- C projects
- Classifications
- DMS, ECM, QM, PM and Work Flow design

3) Technical skills, particularly ABAP, Workflow Development and Portals are a huge plus

4) SAP implementation experience as a Business Analyst with at least 3 full lifecycle implementations

5) Identify and resolve problems and ability to participate in day to day support functions and new SAP projects under multiple deadlines. Understand and apply global data management concepts

6) Ability to troubleshoot interfaces between SAP and external applications. Past experience in designing, developing and supporting custom functionalities, reports or interfaces between SAP and external systems is a plus

7) Strong cross functional integration experience between PLM and other SAP modules: SD, MM, FI, CO etc.

8) Strong communication (verbal and written), analytical problem-solving, and presentation skills. Should have a strong desire to learn new skills and SAP modules.

9) A strong team player who can easily with other business analysts and developers. A self starter who can work under minimum supervision
