Description
This person will be responsible for developing functional
specifications as well as BW infocubes and BW reports.
The individual Must have the following:
Hands on configuration experience in the BW
Previous experience in one or more core R/3 modules
as some experience/knowledge with the Army's businesses (optional but preferred).
Understanding of ASAP methodology for BW.
Knowledge of ABAP language and ability to write functional specifications
Experience/knowledge with design and implementation of a BW architecture

Specific Responsibilities:
Assist in business process definition and modeling
Assist in assessing requirements against business content
Assist in determining required BW design
Assist in configuring the software to replicate the required business processes and analytical/reporting needs
Participate in knowledge transfer (application design and software configuration) to other project team members
Assist in defining authorization profiles and access
Assist in evaluating statistical performance and in making recommendations to basis support for optimization
Assist in designing and building required queries and associated objects
Assist in testing, modifying and documenting system design
Assist in performing activities in the areas of data access and data extraction (BW)
Assist in conducting workshops and presentations to validate business requirements and solutions with the end user community
Assist in identifying, documenting and resolving issues
