Description
Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated is looking for a SAP BW Architect to fill a requirement at a customer site in Houston, TX. This is an assignment through December 2007. Brief Job Description:Main Responsibilities of the Role ? Perform SAP BW architect role in the project team ? Participate in design of overall architecture and make recommendations related to design, configuration, sizing and application performance of SAP BW. ? Provide recommendations for reporting/dashboard using SAP BW toolset versus 3rd party ? Provide recommendations for migration from interim solution to SAP BW ? Provide input into the project work plan to as it pertains to SAP BW ? Participate in analysis, detailed design, technical architecture, implementation and support activities ? Participate in complex and technical problem solving for project and support teams ? Maintain SAP BW product knowledge base, share this with project team and mentor team members in SAP BW No 3rd party vendors.

Requirements:

Skills/Education Needed Bachelors Degree on Computer Science, Information Management or Equivalent Expert Level - BW Backend Design & Architecture Expert Level - BW Front-end Design Expert Level - Limitations of BW Expert Level - DW Principles Expert Level - Influence and Change Management Expert Level- BW Technical and multidimensional modeling skills Intermediate Level - Changes in BW 7.0 Intermediate Level - Unstructured Data Modeling (including Relational models) Intermediate Level - Operational data warehousing Intermediate Level - Extraction from Non-SAP Sources Intermediate Level - Migration from one Tool to another Basic Level - Non-SAP DW implementation experience (Business objects) Basic Level - Understanding of the Manufacturing Business Model 7+ years proven experience in performing BW Lead and Architect role in large complex project environments 10+ years proven experience in IT Strong system, database or programming IT background Experience at mentoring Excellent customer facing and consultancy skills SAP BW Certification a plusdf-tc
