Description
We are currently seeking to fill an SAP BW IP Consultant position for our client in Northbrook, IL. We invite you to review the position requirements below and apply today if your skills match our need.

Overview:
The SAP consultant will be responsible for analyzing, designing, building and testing an SAP BI IP application solution. Also provide the required SAP BI IP hands-on expertise and thought-leadership to ensure that Technology Finance received a SAP BI IP Application solution that is fully operational, functional and addresses Technology Finances business and technical requirements. This resource will provide the required knowledge transfer and satisfy the deliverables and milestones set forth in the FIT Implementation Project Plan.

Responsibilities:
- Review/validate and provide additional input/recommendations to previous FIT documentation; Fit-Gap analysis; current ETL process, data elements, cube analysis and design.
- Provide functional & technical specifications/recommendation/build pertaining to the FIT SAP BI IP application.
- Provide analysis/design/recommendations to end-user training documentation and train-the-trainer program and its rollout.
- Provide analysis, design, recommendations, expertise, build, testing of Technology Finance Reports (actual, plan, forecasting) and queries via SAPs BEx reporting/query tool.
- Ensure/provide completion of required IP reports; IP query, layout requirements, planning & forecasting process functions, screen development, high quality reporting graphics and visuals.
- Responsible for the analysis, design, architecting, build and testing of IP planning cubes to address Technology Finance IP business/reporting requirements.
- Provide and ensure Master Data (Organizational Hierarchies) are correct and optimal for Reporting & Query requirements.
- Provide and ensure all interfaces/interfacing with BW environment and other SAP entities have been identified, integration build/streamlines and operational and documented.
- Consultant to assist with the design, creation, rollout, monitoring and approval of UAT Phase and Test Plans in a quality environment.
- Provide assistance, support, recommendations and integration with BI environment via associated engaged resources and ISG BW Team.
- Introduce and provide templates and SAP BI IP Business Content features, functions, capabilities and templates to compress project/task efforts, costs and to provide dynamic client satisfaction and progress.
- Provide expertise, recommendations and design, build, testing assistance with Technology Finance & Cost Management Allocation Process solution.
- All designs must be documented; reports, queries, interfaces, functional/conceptual designs, architectural enterprise designs, BI to IP or IP to BI interfaces, integrations points, cube associations and recommended solutions/changes.
- Program Manager to provide BI expertise, thought-leadership and hands-on involvement on an add-needed basis and/or when the project requirements are present.
- Analyze, design, recommend and build the following authorization concepts (Security):
* Business Process Areas: Develop Planning Aggregate Levels, Develop Planning Filters, Develop Planning/Forecasting Functions, Develop Planning, workbooks & Folders, Develop Local/Global Planning Sequences (Global Variables & Allocations Drivers), Development IP specific BW reports to assist Technology Finance & FSA SME,
* Security/Authorization: Create roles, variables for authorization, users (develop & test roles), Assign authorization profiles to users & validate authorization concept, Test user roles and authorization concept, Refine user roles and authorization design, Sign-off authorization design
- To ensure that all IP deliverables are successfully operational in all SAP Environments; Sandbox, Development, Staging & Production.
- Validation that all IP deliverables and reporting/query models and components have been transported, testing, validated and operational in IP Production Environment.
