BearingPoint GTS is currently searching for an experienced SAP BW Lead.

Preference will be given to candidates local to our Silicon Valley, CA office.

Job responsibilities:
· Senior level position to lead a hands-on role to provide support for implementing SAP Enterprise Portal 6.0 and SAP BW 3.1
· Development - Develop Iviews using Java in Enterprise Portal 5/6.
· The individual must have the ability to translate business needs into data analysis and reporting solutions, Knowledge of SQL, query, and reporting tools.
· Individual must possess a working knowledge of SAP Business Explorer and BEX Suite of applications in a SAP Business Warehouse 3.1. Proven expertise with ABAP, IDOC, ALE, Extractors, OLAP, and Custom Cube building. Experience with extracting data from legacy systems using ABAP or third party tools like Vitria or Brio are required. Integrating SAP BW Reports into SAP Portal is a big plus.
· Portal Administration - Manage installations, customization using PDK, transports for Portal infrastructure, monitor Portal Performance
· Perform or lead effort to create application design for enterprise portal project, which may require extensive research and analysis.
· Review designs and maintain compliance with application and infrastructure architecture and security.

Requirements:
· Significant experience implementing a full life cycle project using SAP R/3 4.7, SAP BW 3.1 and SAP Enterprise Portal 5/6. Knowledge of SD, MM, FI/CO.
· Worked on a least 1 full implementation
· Must have a minimum of 2 years application experience with Internet/Intranet technologies, platforms and integration with backend systems and databases.
· Previous experience with Content Management Systems, LDAP, Microsoft Active Directory, Netegrity Single Sign-On a plus.
· Must have knowledge of professional level of performance tuning, application/system scaling, and 24x7 programming techniques

Candidates must have the ability to accommodate a Monday-Friday travel schedule.
