Enterprise Solutions is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Manager for a full time permanent position in the Dayton, OH area. This position is scheduled to begin ASAP.

Description:
Proven Basis Manager to apply an advanced, in-depth knowledge of technical concepts, practices and procedures. Oversee work on complex assignments and perform a full range of technical support activities.
Act as lead of quick-response user-support team and will often work under demanding deadlines, operating independently to resolve complex end-user problems.

Experience/Skills
Required Skills:
Knowledge of these modules: XI, Enterprise Portals, APO/Live Cache, SRM preferable
Knowledge of Interfaces and Bolt-Ons to SAP.
Install/Upgrade/Migration of SAP R/3 and related components
Implemented SAP Correction and Transport system
SAP client copy, client export and client import
Apply patches/notes and support packages
Any new dimensions SAP products experience is a plus (working experience in SLD)

Database Skills specific to SAP:
Database backup and recovery
Tablespace monitoring
Adding table extents and enlarging tablespaces
Reorganizing tables and tablespaces
Database export and import
Database tuning
Database administration
Upgrading Database software
Working experience in DB2/Informix platform will be a plus

Operating System Skills:
Modified Unix Kernel
Setup and prepare the OS system disk and file systems
System backups and monitoring disk usage
Configured swap space
Install Unix Operating System
Maintain OS system security access and protect critical system files
Monitor/control system activities (Process management) and OS fine-tuning
Develop and maintain necessary scripts to automate periodic system tasks
Create logical volumes and volume groups
Operation of SAP on Heterogeneous environment.
SAP System refresh/copy from Production to QA
SAP CCMS, Operation mode, Background jobs, printing and spool management
Setting up operation modes, Logon Groups and RFC server groups
Installation of Java-Based SAP Components

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 5-7 years of related technical support experience.
