Client is looking for:- -------------------------- - Immediate need for SAP APO functional consultant for long-term assignment. - Must be located at the customer site in Torrance, CA. Local resource preferred. - This position requires a strong SAP configuration experience in SAP APO modules with the ability to communicate with the user community for identifying business requirements and processes and implementing solutions to meet those needs. - Analyze and correct production problems as they occur in the SAP system. * Analyze, design, develop, prototype, implement and enhance SAP R/3 software in order to meet current and future customer business requirements. * Work with user areas to analyze and optimize business processes, find and solve problems with existing software, data and procedures. Write specifications for business processes, subsystems, programs, reports and interfaces according to customer standards, for coding by offshore ABAP team. * Support the configuration of the SAP R/3 system in the APO areas * Participate in the unit/integration testing of the SAP system: develop expertise in SAP to support the project goals and objectives. Participate in development of structured walk throughs (SAP demonstrations & training) to the users. * Ensure documentation for business processes and supporting software is accurate and complete. * Current in-depth knowledge of SAP R/3 aspects related to APO. * Consult with all levels of the customer IT organization and help serve as a liaison between depts and divisions.
